I am Saurabh Dubey.

This site is for me to express myself, and for you to keep up with me. Life moves fast, and it’s possible that this space becomes a little outdated, but I will make my best effort to keep this as up to date as possible.
There are a few different sides of me:
the Musician
I like to sing. I am fairly good at it too. When you loaded the homepage, the song that played, is in my voice. I try to play some intruments, but I can’t really play any of them very well, just enough to support my own singing.
All my life, I thought that if I learnt (yes that’s a word in English – real english, look up the Oxford dictionary) music, I would think of it as a chore and I might not like it anymore. When I started taking my daughter (Arshiya) to music class, I thought maybe it won’t be so bad if I spent an additional hour to learn myself as well, and it paid off.
I wasn’t wrong – it does feel like a chore to me. But doing that chore has helped improve.

the Advisor
My profession is consulting, but I feel that coming from a family of professors and teachers, I was always destined for this. The first of my generation to get away from teaching, but not really get away from teaching. 🙂
I work with Deloitte Consulting LLP, in a group called Technology Services Optimization within Enterprise Performance. Enterprise Performance focuses on transformational technologies – Artifical Intelligence, Machine Learning, Low-code/No-code workflows and solutions, Robotic process automation (RPA), etc. My specific work is in our ServiceNow alliance related offerings. I also get to lead US ServiceNow offerings for ESG – Environmental, Social and Governance related factors.

the Writer / the Tech Geek / the Blockchain enthusiast
Just like a diversified portfolio, the main time investments go into the other 2 items I mentioned. And the rest of me is split between a million other thigns I want to do. Try to keep up with my interests if you dare.
I wrote a book once, more like short story… and it tought me that I can write, but I have not had the time to write again, other than a small chapter for a book that I wanted to write. Read it, and let me know if it feels like I should continue writing.
As for the tech geek part, I can’t help but wanting to be part of every new tech innovation there is. From AI to blockchain, from fintech to healthtech, from 5G to AR, from space adventures and theories to SpaceX, I am trying to absorb as much as I can in the tech world.
